Quick FAQ/Rules
What is this place?
This is a musebox set in the Lillian Private Academy for Women, an upper-class, private, all-girls Catholic school in the heart of Tokyo. The focus is, in particular, on the high school, as we're not given much information on the grade school and middle school, nor much on the college. All women and women-identifying characters are welcome to join the community, and thus attend. While there's not much precedent for anyone from a more lower-class family being allowed into the school, it's a musebox, and relative allowance for scholarships, or people that show remarkable skill or intelligence is perfectly acceptable. The point is, come in and have fun.
Anything else I should know?
The soeur system is probably the most important thing to know about the game, as it's really the most important. Read the info post here. Being that the series this thing comes from is so Class S it's almost literally physically painful, the focus is on character interaction, and development. The hallmark of Class S is that it's basically romantic friendships between girls. It's a lot more about the emotional support than the physical support, but hey, when has that ever stopped certain people?
So the Soeur Thing is a big deal?
The biggest deal. It is literally referred to, on more than one occasion as "[X] took [Y]'s hand!" As in, yes marriage. Like marriages, it's prone to its ups and downs, but most soeur couples stick with it through the tough times and remain in contact through high school and long after. However, sometimes, like marriages, things don't work out, and it is possible to return a rosary as it was given, though it's usually a rather big deal when someone does. It is also possible to go the entire time never accepting or giving a rosary - there's been a couple characters to do as such, or to delay doing anything, so playing the lone wolf thing is still perfectly viable.
And the Yamayurikai?
The Not Quite Absurdly Powerful Student Council. Really, the whole school looks at them like they're on an entirely different level (much to a certain Rosa Chinensis' chagrin), but they're normal students, just like everyone else. Despite the focus on the Yamayurikai, they don't really do much more or less than any other student council in any other Japanese high school - it's really the social side of things where they're suddenly deified. They meet in an old, historic-looking western-style building on-campus called the Rose Mansion, but despite the name, it's really more of a two-story small house at best. It doesn't even have running hot water. They meet in the upstairs room, door on the left past the stained glass rose mural. Any student is more than welcome to come join them or speak to them, but everyone's usually too afraid to. They don't bite, I promise.
Timeline stuff?
It's a musebox, there isn't one. You want your character to be a first year accepting a rosary in one post, and in the next turn around and be giving theirs out to an underclassman in the next? Sure thing! The posts from the mod journal will be chronological, really only in terms of 'what events happen after each other' during high school, so it'll start with a welcome ceremony set in May, about a month after the new year, and then repeat everything in the middle after that; but they're basically in-universe memes. There might be a graduation ceremony if people want their characters to move on and have to deal with the ever amusing drama of "Onee-sama is graduating..." that seems to plague every Petite Soeur when the time comes (usually distracting them from their duties as Grande Soeur), but such posts don't need to be canon for anyone. That said, because of the nature of the timeline, it's also perfectly viable that people not even from this canon or anything like it could very suddenly end up as Rosa Foetida en Bouton in a post for a year, as it's a different year than the ones from original canon were there. That spot doesn't necessarily have to apply only to Rei or Yoshino.
And the, as usual, query about powers, stuff, etc.
As explained in the info post, there isn't any. Heck, canon doesn't even really have anyone with any weird hair colors let alone special powers, but the hair color thing can slide. So if it isn't something your average, everyday, ordinary 14-17 year old girl could do? It's not gonna happen. Nonhuman physical or otherwise traits are out. There's a kendo club for anyone who needs to get some 'hitting things' out of their system, but social delinquencies very, very quickly become a spectacle, and usually not in a good way. The school has strict, and high standards regarding the behavior of the students, and punishments can include expulsion. Might not be the best place for people prone to violent outbursts, or cussing loudly.
And the teachers?
Are... pretty well never interacted with in-canon. They do like... twice. The teachers exist, and they're all nuns, and that's about it. (The headmistress has an interesting little secret about her days at Lillian, though.) Yes, that means staff is pretty much all uninteresting NPCs for the most part, but that doesn't mean you can't get your Class S in Teacherdom out of your system.
And what about off-campus?
That's perfectly fine, assuming it's the weekend or break (don't skip school, kids)! Take your friendships and Soeur-doms on the road! The school itself is in the heart of a modern-day Tokyo, Japan, so you have the whole of the modern world to explore. Eriko was known to go to her family's beach house in Hawaii during the summer. The girls all went to Italy for a summer. Sachiko traveled internationally a lot when school wasn't in. There have been sleepovers and everything, and all of it is perfectly viable to be played out in the comm as well, with the CR you've established through various posts.
What about a network?
There isn't really one. There are phones (which work exactly like phones in the modern day - call one person, send texts to a few people that you have on your contact list, but really don't do it in class), and there is meeting other people in person. There are computers in the library for research purposes, but there's no special school-wide network, so you have to network the really old fashioned way: get people's phone numbers, or IM addresses, or emails by talking to them.
And how do I play?

RULES AND REGULATIONS
- Play nice! If there are problems, hit up the mod journal here and I'll sort them out.
- This isn't an 18+ comm, so keep things age-appropriate to that. Explicit content is encouraged to be moved to a separate, private musebox well before things get too... involved.
- Your typical 'don't 4th wall, don't godmod, don't be a jerk to others' characters by using your advantage as a mun to them' clause goes here
- Check out the FAQ (higher on this post) and premise posts for information on the world!
- You can tag at whatever speed you want to; the comm subtitle is a joke.
- And most of all, have fun! Maria-sama ga miteru. The Virgin Mary is watching!
